Real food from the homes and farms of the Barossa

When & Where

The Barossa Farmers Market is based in Angaston and open every Saturday from 7.30am to 11.30am.

Who's here this week

It’s Tasting Australia Week and it’s all happening in & around the Valley. If you haven’t grabbed a program yet, pop into the Market to grab much needed supplies & a copy. Our very own Barossa Coffee Roasters will be in Adelaide this weekend at Victoria Square. Chef Mark McNamara will be doing a few gigs, and Barossa Birds birds will be out & about at selected events!  Grab a fork and check out a Tasting Australia event near you!

In other exciting food news, we welcome 2 NEW stallholders this week! Birdwood Venison (weekly) & Little Bunyip Mushrooms (fortnightly) and this could very well be the LAST WEEK FOR FIGS!! Kathy & David from Barossa Rainbow Fruits have managed to get the last ones off the trees (& we thought they were finished last week!). If you’re after some lovely fresh figs, and to see David & Kathy one last time, this weekend is it!

Don’t forget to check out the New Menu at the Breakfast Bar. NOW with a VEGAN option, we still have our favourite Market Burger, Fresh Pancakes, & a Kids meal! As it’s the last weekend of School Holidays (AWW, MUM! Do we HAVE to go back to school??) there is still time for the younger ones to enter our colouring in competition, and I’m loving the variety of answers on our Scavenger Hunt!

Have a great Hump Day & see you on Saturday at the Market

Welcome to the Barossa Farmers Market; real food from the farms and homes of the Barossa.

The Barossa Farmers Market is a genuine, local produce market, permanently located undercover in the Vintners Sheds, Angaston. This means you can do your weekly grocery shopping regardless of the weather and safe in the knowledge that your produce will always be fresh, healthy and part of a fair exchange between consumer and producer.
